The latter is a son of Sadler’s Wells who has had an immense influence on National Hunt racing. Today several of his sons and grandsons stand under the Coolmore National Hunt banner including Walk In The Park, Yeats, Milan, Leading Light, Soldier of Fortune and Fame And Glory.

T he Coolmore National Hunt tradition began in the 1850’s with Thomas Magnier offering the services of his stallions to local breeders along the Blackwater Valley. It continued throughout the last century, firstly with Cottage, who is buried in the graveyard at Grange Stud. He along with other
