Churchill enjoys the advantage of being free of the DANZIG blood which has been one of the other biggest contributors to Galileo’s success. Churchill will surely suit mares by DANEHILL and his sons. Gleneagles, another son of Galileo with a Storm Cat dam, already has six Group winners out of grand-daughters of DANEHILL , the stallions involved being DANEHILL DANCER , DANSILI , ORATORIO and FASTNET ROCK . Gleneagles has an impressive record with DANEHILL DANCER , with 4 SWs from 21 foals (19%), including Gr.1 winner Loving Dream and Gr.2 winners Insinuendo and Royal Dornoch. Galileo himself has a tremendous record with DANEHILL DANCER mares and enjoyed Gr.1 success with daughters of EXCEED AND EXCEL , ROCK OF GIBRALTAR , HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR , DANSILI , DESERT KING and MOZART . The GREEN DESERT branch also has plenty to offer, as Churchill’s female line produced the Nunthorpe winner Jwala to OASIS DREAM . Churchill’s Gr.2-placed son Unconquerable is out of an OASIS DREAM mare and his 5f. stakes winner Ladies Church has a second dam by CAPE CROSS . Galileo sired an Oaks winner from a GREEN DESERT mare and a Derby winner (Australia) from a daughter of CAPE CROSS . Mares by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT should be ideal to reinforce Churchill’s outstanding 2YO ability. The similarly-bred Gleneagles, together with Nathaniel, Teofilo and Frankel, is one of a growing number of Galileo’s stallion sons with important winners inbred to SADLER’S WELLS . His Gr.1 winner Loving Dream is inbred 3x3, as is his Gr.2-placed son Highland Chief (dam by MONTJEU ). Gr.2 winner Insinuendo is inbred 3x4. One of Churchill’s first 2YO SWs, Snaffles, has a dam by SINGSPIEL and is therefore inbred 3x4. Galileo has also enjoyed excellent results with the NUREYEV line, notably siring 11 Group winners from 44 foals out of PIVOTAL mares (25%). Frankel is shaping up very well with PIVOTAL mares with four Gr.1 winners. There are encouraging signs that Churchill is also going to thrive with PIVOTAL , as he already has three talented winners out of his daughters, including The Acropolis (Gr.2-placed). Galileo also has Gr.1 winners out of daughters of THEATRICAL and STRAVINSKY . Churchill’s third dam is by INDIAN RIDGE and his speed could be reinforced with more AHONOORA blood. Galileo’s classic winners New Approach and Was respectively have a dam and a second dam by this top sprinter. Galileo also has a classic winner from a mare by INDIAN RIDGE , and both Galileo and Frankel have Gr.1 winners from INCHINOR mares. Breeders hoping to produce high-class middle-distance winners by Churchill should consider sending him mares from the MILL REEF line. Galileo has sired Gr.1 winners from three generations of this line, including 11 Group winners from DARSHAAN mares. Ladies Church, one of Churchill’s first SWs, has a dam by RIO DE LA PLATA , a son of RAHY . Galileo has a Gr.1 winner from a BLUSHING GROOM mare, while RAINBOW QUEST sired the second dam of Frankel. Oaks winner Talent, by Galileo’s son New Approach, has a second dam by RAINBOW QUEST . Galileo has Gr.1 winners with dams by KINGMAMBO . Gleneagles’ Gr.2 winner Novemba has a dam by Kingmambo’s son DUBAI DESTINATION . Two of Gleneagles’ good 2YO winners, Seisai and Southern Hills, have grandams by KING’S BEST , a son of KINGMAMBO . The SHARPEN UP line has produced a classic winner to Galileo and Galileo has a total of nine Group winners with second dams by either DIESIS or his brother KRIS . Galileo sired Gr.1 winners Nathaniel and Great Heavens from daughters of SILVER HAWK and the Arc-winning Found from a mare by INTIKHAB . He also has Group winners from daughters of other ROBERTO line sires such as DYNAFORMER , KRIS S. , LEAR FAN , RED RANSOM , DR FONG and SRI PEKAN .
