With the third Group One success of his career, Douglas Whyte’s Russian Emperor joined the likes of River Verdon, Viva Pataca, Blazing Speed and Exultant as a multiple winner of the final Group One of the season. “He’s a superstar of my stable and he’s certainly given me one hell of a ride since he’s joined me,” Whyte said of a galloper who also secured a Qatar Group One, the H.H.
