Raising Champions. Tracing back to 1920 Melbourne Cup winner Poitrel , the property at Jerrys Plains now occupied by Coolmore Australia has a history of producing horses of the highest class. Since its establishment in 1996 no less than 56 Group 1 winners have benefitted from the lush pasture of the irrigated river flats and undulating paddocks. Those ‘raised and grazed’ at the farm include the likes of our own flagship sire Fastnet Rock , exciting young sire Pride of Dubai and of course the mighty Winx . But it’s not just your horses who are well looked after here. Clients are welcome to come and stay in our luxury accommodation and to enjoy the spectacular Hunter Valley.
