Other sons of Dansili have Gr.1 and Gr.2 winners inbred 4x3 to DANZIG . One of them is Zoffany, who owes much of his early success to mares from this male line. His smart daughter Illuminate has a dam by GREEN DESERT and his Gr.2 Royal Lodge winner Foundation has a dam by POLISH PRECEDENT . Another son, the Gr.1 Prix de l’Abbaye runner-up Washington DC, is inbred 4x4. Two of Dansili’s Gr.1-winning daughters, Giofra and Laughing, are inbred 3x4 to DANZIG , as are Dansili’s high-class sprinter Bated Breath and his Gr.2 Gimcrack Stakes winner Shaweel. A son and a grandson of DANEHILL sired those fast fillies Piccadilly Filly and Gilt Edge Girl from Requinto’s female family. Now that 3x3 inbreeding to DANEHILL has produced the high-class sprinter Hoof It and the Middle Park winner Astaire, breeders may want to try Requinto with mares by Danehill’s sons. Zoffany has a Gr.3 winner inbred 3x3. NUREYEV also demands consideration as Dansili sired the Arc winner Rail Link from a THEATRICAL mare and Gr.2 winner Shaweel from a PEINTRE CELEBRE mare. Dansili has a high proportion of Group winners out of PIVOTAL mares, including the precocious Fire Lily and the Gr.1 winner Winsili. Two sons of Dansili now have stakes winners out of PIVOTAL mares and Zoffany sired the classic-placed Architecture from a daughter of FASLIYEV . Requinto’s Group-placed son Broken Stones is out of a FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND mare. This suggests daughters of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY and SHAMARDAL could do well. Requinto could be a very interesting match for mares by ACCLAMATION and DARK ANGEL . HORSES TO FOLLOW IN 2017 all lightly-raced and highly-regarded winners: Broken Stones (Gr.2 pl for kevin Ryan, sold to Hong kong), Mojito (William Haggas), Trevanna (won a €100,000 auction race for kevin Prendergast), Warrior’s Spirit (Richard Hannon), Kruger Park (Richard Fahey), etc.
