Other sons of Oasis Dream have stakes winners out of mares by sons of MR PROSPECTOR , including the smart Waady, and there are two 2yo Group winners out of mares by grandsons of Mr Prospector, including NAYEF . Oasis Dream has an outstanding record with mares by SELKIRK , siring nine stakes winners including the Group winners Main Aim, Bye Bye Birdie and Monitor Closely. He also sired the smart Gale Force Ten from a grand-daughter of SELKIRK . It is therefore no coincidence that the second dams of two of Power’s first black-type winners are by KRIS (Group winner Peace Envoy) and TREMPOLINO . The UNFUWAIN branch of the Northern Dancer line is building a successful relationship with Oasis Dream’s stallion sons. There are Listed winners out of mares by ALHAARTH and the top sprinter Quiet Reflection has a dam by Alhaarth’s son HAAFHD . Power’s speed and precocity should prove very useful to mares with SADLER’S WELLS blood. Approve is the best of Oasis Dream’s winners out of SADLER’S WELLS mares and he has eight stakes winners with second dams by SADLER’S WELLS, including the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes winner Charming Thought. Oasis Dream is also siring Group winners from mares by Sadler’s Wells’ sons, including the Gr.2 winner Hard Dream from a GALILEO mare, Peace At Last and Rainfall from BARATHEA mares and the very smart Sri Putra from an IN THE WINGS mare. TOBOUGG and GALILEO are already the broodmare sires of stakes winners by Power. Mares with NIJINSKY blood have provided Oasis Dream with some top winners. A NINISKI mare produced the Gr.1 winner Lady Jane Digby, German 2,000 Guineas winner Frozen Power and the very useful Bronterre have dams by ROYAL ACADEMY . CAERLEON sired the second dams of two Group winners by sons of Oasis Dream. The NUREYEV male line is worthy of consideration, as Oasis Dream has Group winners out of mares by THEATRICAL , SOVIET STAR , WOLFHOUND (the Gr.1-winning sprinter Muarrab) and PIVOTAL . LINAMIX mares have excelled with Oasis Dream, with three stakes winners from eight foals, headed by the top-class sprinter Muhaarar. As Power’s family has produced a classic winner to GIANT’S CAUSEWAY , mares from the STORM CAT line are worth trying. Other sons of Oasis Dream have stakes winners from this line, including a German 1,000 Guineas winner from a grand-daughter of STORM CAT . SHAMARDAL and LOPE DE VEGA mares should suit Power. The MILL REEF line is important for Oasis Dream with Gr.1 winner Arcano out of a DAYLAMI mare and Gr.3 winner Starlit Sands out of a daughter of SLIP ANCHOR . Indian Ridge mares produce 4x3 to AHONOORA with Power, who has already sired the very useful Pleaseletmewin. ROYAL APPLAUSE , his son ACCLAMATION and grandson DARK ANGEL look sure to produced 2yo winners to Power, especially when a ROYAL APPLAUSE mare has already produced a 2yo Gr.3 winner to another son of Oasis Dream.
