Mares from the NUREYEV line could also suit, especially in view of Invincible Spirit’s fine record with mares by PIVOTAL and FASLIYEV . PEINTRE CELEBRE sired a good winner from Ivawood’s family in the form of the smart Salford Mill, who became a top winner in Hong Kong as Helene Mascot. Plenty of Invincible Spirit’s Group winners have pedigrees containing NIJINSKY , via the likes of KINGS LAKE , GREEN DANCER , ROYAL ACADEMY and CAERLEON . Sons of Invincible Spirit have Group winners out of grand-daughters of STORM CAT , by GIANT’S CAUSEWAY and TALE OF THE CAT . Mares by FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND and SHAMARDAL could help Ivawood sire good 2yos. The BLUSHING GROOM line demands respect. Lawman has two Gr.1 winners with dams by RAINBOW QUEST , while Invincible Spirit’s Prix Maurice de Gheest winners Moonlight Cloud and Signs of Blessing respectively have a dam by SPECTRUM and a second dam by NASHWAN . A son of Invincible Spirit has two Group winners out of LINAMIX mares. Ivawood’s sire, the very fast and precocious Zebedee, has also sired the smart sprinter Magical Memory from a CADEAUX GENEREUX mare.
