Retiring for 2018 The most precocious son of Galileo to date, Churchill is the first juvenile colt by the great sire to score at Royal Ascot. There followed four straight Group race successes culminating in a faster Dewhurst than Frankel , New Approach , Teofilo and Shamardal . But then Churchill was bred to excel at two years. His dam Meow was a neck second in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot while his second dam Airwave defeated Russian Rhythm to win the Cheveley Park Stakes and was the highest-rated juvenile filly of her generation in England. Back to Churchill himself, we’re already looking forward to 2017!
