This year’s impressive Golden Slipper winner got his name from the late Abe Shinzo , the longest-serving prime minister in Japan’s postwar history. One of Abe’s many legacies will be the Ahmedabad-Mumbai high-speed bullet train project with an expected top speed for the corridor of 350km/h. Our own Shinzo - bred, raised and broken in here at Coolmore - is pretty rapid too which he showed when giving Chris Waller his first winner of the Rosehill showpiece. Blink and you’ll miss him!
