Breaking Under the experienced eye of Evan Henley, every autumn yearlings raised on the farm and purchased at the sales are broken. Time, patience and experience are the vital ingredients required and at Coolmore we are fortunate to have some very fine horsemen and horsewomen. The breaking process typically lasts between six and eight weeks, where everything is geared towards giving the horse a gentle and enjoyable introduction to what will become his or her new way of life.

Horses broken in at Coolmore in recent seasons include Group 1 winners HOME AFFAIRS , SHINZO , LINDERMANN , FANGIRL and PERSONAL , top 2-year-old LEARNING TO FLY , unbeaten Stakes winner ACROBAT etc.
