Tapit’s son Race Day sired the smart White Abarrio from a daughter of INTO MISCHIEF . Cupid has already sired the Gr.3 winner God of Love from a grand-daughter of STORM CAT . Tapit owes numerous Graded stakes winners to mares from the Mr Prospector line. Among the stallions involved were CARSON CITY (three times), SEEKING THE GOLD , WOODMAN , GONE WEST and his sons ELUSIVE QUALITY , GRAND SLAM , JOHAR and MR GREELEY , as well as FORTY NINER’s sons DISTORTED HUMOR and EDITOR’S Significantly, the fact that Tapit has a dam by UNBRIDLED hasn’t stopped him siring Gr.1, Gr.2 and Gr.3 winners from daughters of UNBRIDLED’S SONG , which are inbred 3x3 to UNBRIDLED . Tapit also has 29% black-type winners from daughters of EMPIRE MAKER , notably siring the Gr.1 winner Valiance. Tapit’s Gr.1 winner Sweet Loretta is also inbred 3x3 to Unbridled. Tapit, with a mare by INDIAN CHARLIE , sired the brilliant Flightline so Cupid should suit UNCLE MO mares. VICE REGENT has played his part in Tapit’s success story, with his son DEPUTY MINISTER ranking as the broodmare sire of the top-class colts Tapizar and Frosted. Cupid could suit mares by DEPUTY MINISTER line stallions. EL PRADO and his son MEDAGLIA D’ORO are among the broodmare sires of Tapit’s Graded stakes winners, with the Gr.1 winner Laragh having an EL PRADO dam. SADLER’S WELLS sired the second dam of Gr.2 winner Lani. Although Tapit is by Pulpit, a grandson of SEATTLE SLEW , the great Triple Crown winner also appears on the dam’s side of quite a few of his good winners. Frosted and Tapwrit are inbred 4x4, while Gr.2 winner Dancing House and Gr.3 winner Touching Beauty are inbred 4x3. The Gr.1 winner Sweet Loretta is inbred 3x4 to A.P. INDY . Tapit sired Gr.1 winners from mares by KRIS S. and his son PRIZED , the latter is broodmare sire of Untapable. DIXIELAND BAND and DIXIE UNION are among the broodmare sires of Tapit’s Graded winners and DIXIE UNION mares have produced an impressive 25% SWs to him. Tapit has two Graded winners from 6 foals out of mares by HARD SPUN . Another son of Tapit sired the top-class Tiz The Law from a daughter of TIZNOW . NOTE . Cupid already has the talented Sterling River out of a DISTORTED HUMOR mare. Tapit with mares by STREET CRY and his son STREET SENSE have sired three Gr.2 winners.
